I've had a decent amount of fails while riding Teddy, most of them were my fault, and most of them i laugh about...I have only ever gotten 1 fail on camera :( but i will post the picture of it!
I would say my stupidest fall was this summer when i was warming Teddy up before my lesson and waiting for my trainer, but i got bored and one of the girls i was riding with told me i should ride my already warmed up and ready to go horse side saddle, and being my stupid self i thought 'sure, why not' the second i ask him to trot he goes into his bouncy fast trot, instead of his cute comfy jog, because he wanted to canter. I half fell, half jumped, and ended up landing on my knees. Teddy had no clue what had just happened and me and the girls i was riding with were laughing for a good 5 minutes about it.
My worst fall was probably when Teddy and I were jumping and I ended up losing my balance and smashed my head on the ground. My ears were ringing, everything was blurry and i couldn't stand for like a minute. then i got back up and did the jump again, of course i couldn't see right and i was already off balance because i had fallen before, and i fell again...
My most unexpected fall was a week ago in a lesson when Teddy decided why walk though a mud puddle when you can just jump over it? I'm glad he is putting him jumping skills to the test, but I would be happier if i was aware of it beforehand! I now avoid mud puddles...
I have had a whole bunch of falls, more than i can even remember, and a lot of them are just stupid little things like attempting to trot with no stirrups and neck reining when your horse cant neck rein and almost crashing into a jump standard, or cantering with no stirrups when your horse breaks into an insane power trot that no one in the world could sit to. But Teddy is adorable, and I love him, insane power trot and all.
